Were the Shinobi Pro pressure plates from SpeedyMoto ever silver/natural looking?  I have a guy that has a used one for sale and it is new, never mounted, but it is silver.  I don't see that as available and was wondering before I have them shipped.  It is not a shop just an individual....

Their site doesn't show a aluminum/clear finish. There's lots of speedy knock offs out there - many times the look similar, but aren't as thick/tall as the real thing. Real ones cover most of the spring vs. Stock which covers about half.

That is definately a Speedymoto part. I'm not sure if they still sell them but they did in the past.

They don't currently sell that color PP, but they did.  They are accomodating on special requests as well, but take their time on stuff recently, especially special requests.

So you think I'd be OK to buy it, the cover, and the bolts?

If I were looking to buy one in that color I would grab that. I have one but it's red and will be replacing it soon.

Thanks all!!!  I have grabbed them and they are on the way.  I might switch the caps on the springs from silver to red so they will 'pop' out a bit more, but I am stoked!!  I got the plate, the sellwood cover and the springs.....

OK, so they got here today and are in perfect shape, never used as advertised. 

NOW I have another question--is the pressure plate supposed to have teeth on the back?  I thought it would, but it is smooth.  Please tell me it should be smooth!

No teeth means it's made to replace the cover on a 6 spring styled slipper.

You SHOULD be able to use it no problem, since the teeth don't really do much on the PP, but YMMV

Bummer.... I was afraid of that.  I will check with Speedymoto Monday to see what they think about using it.

says it fits the Slipper ONLY.

maybe check with SM and see if they'll take it on a swap since it's brand new.

SM says it is for a slipper clutch only.  The person I got it from is very cool and I'm sending it back to them for a refund unless someone here needs a slipper plate cheap!

Nope, I go it from Craigs List so I wouldn't expect them to.  They said if it wasn't a slipper they would have, but this would sit there forever and I understand that.  I really do.

I'm getting my $175 back (as soon as they get the product back) so I'm out shipping and paypal fees but not the whole thing.

A PP, Sellwood cover, and new springs was a great deal for that price but not if you can't use it!   [puke]

i would kinda buy this off you as i have a 749R slipper clutch on my shelf, but i have the stock pressure plate that came with it (teethless) and i dont care much for bling nad its a hard to find item ( your pressure plate that is). its worth money to someone out there.

This one is the light grey (I think Titanium color) so the bling isn't in your face.  You sure you don't want them?  All three for $175 plus actual shipping $$

I mean the Shinobi Pro PP, the Sellwood (ity-bity) cover, and the springs/caps.... all three.  It is like $475 bucks worth of stuff!  the springs are unopened, and the rest is new but opened.  PM me if you want to talk.
