Title: Heat on S4R
Post by: Duc Rider on July 13, 2010, 03:08:11 AM
Friends, not sure if your bikes are the same as mine. Mine is S4R (2003). The temp was always 100c if under stop&go conditions (normal riding was 75-90c).

How about yours?

Your sharing might be helpful to others as a benchmark. Thank you very much in advance  :D

Ummm....100c? How about putting it in terms we understand? Lol. I don't know the conversion.  [roll]

Ok, so I just went and did the conversion. 212F isn't that bad in stop and go. I've seen higher on my S4Rt on several occasiona.

Yup that temp is fine. I've been over 225. Makes me nervous but no ill effects.

1.  Yes, you're fine in those conditions.
2.  2004 was the first year for the S4R.
