set her free
yeah the owner was there, he was having issues with the right rearset.
couldn't believe it though. some suzuki wrencher was banging at the rearset in the back making me cringe.
I was at the local Honyamsuzsaki dealer and saw a mint white/red S4R for sale. It was on consignment. The dealer parked it in front of a sea of chrome. As I was walking out, I pointed to the S4R and said to a sales person "that's the best looking bike you have here". The dude gave me a look as if I was a drunken crazy alien. [laugh]
BTW, the bike was sold in no time
I bought my '93 Monster at a Susuki dealer last year. The guy said they'd had it for a while, none of the crotch-rocket riders were at all interested, and all would cringe and turn away when they heard the dry clutch. When my wife and I saw and heard it for the first time, we just looked at each other and smiled shit-eating grins.

Funny how it all works.
That's a beauty! [bow_down]
Should have asked onwer if he'd let you take it for a quick spin at least. Worst he could say was no. I like that color.
