Title: Bazzaz Traction Control install on an 848
Post by: Speed 3 Pilot on July 16, 2010, 07:35:44 PM
Looks like Bazzaz units are available for 848/1098/1198 and maybe more...here's a video of the install of the TC option...

I guess if you're out racing it might be a different story but so far I haven't found any need for traction control on the 848. Then again I'm slow so that might account for a lot. The Bazzaz is interesting but it's sort of a faux traction control. The production Ducati's, and other bikes like the BMW, use wheel speed sensors to get closer to the real deal traction control. Some guys still complain about that too but I really can't comment any more about that as I haven't ridden any of those. You could ask Pat & Colin, the two guys with the new 1198S white bikes how they like it.
