Title: clipons
Post by: swaze99 on July 19, 2010, 04:09:55 PM
I have a 2000 ducati monster 750 that i laid down im in the process of rebuilding it and modifying it. I would like to go with the clipon bars but am unsure what is the most cost effective yet legitimate way to do it any   suggestions are greatly appreciated.

^^ Both good answers.  I'm gonna vote 2 though.  Coz I think just one clipon would look strange and not offer ideal ergonomics nor vehicular control.

Bah. You have no vision. Just wait until the 'two hands on the single tiller-style control' becomes all the rage!

Cost effective and adjustable?  How about Adjustable Clubman Bars?  Prices range between $75-160.

Didn't vote.  Not sure what the difference is between option 1 and option 2.

In case you are curious, these are the three adjustable clubman style bars I have found.  I am leaning toward getting the Laverda Clubman Style Bars (last pic).

And here's where you can get them:

I vote for 2. It's hard to steer with just 1.    :P

I don't know what I voted for, but choose 2 because it was an even number.  [roll]

I vote for one just becuase I want to know what one clip-on would look like.  I bet it will stick straight back, from the triple toward the rider, like a rudder.  Both clutch and brake levers will be mounted on the rudder.
