Post by: VisceralReaction on July 20, 2010, 07:00:36 AM
This story just makes you hope, knowing there are people like this out there.
Here is to Keith McVey!  [thumbsup]  [bow_down]  [drink]

Your'e right, that's a great story. That my friends is just an everyday hero. They walk among us and we never even know it. Because they don't want us to know, they don't want the attention. Why don't stories like that make the front page. Put the robberies, fatal accidents, thieves and embezzlement stories on the back page for a change. You're also right that some jerk who was saved by him would probably want to sue him for some stupid reason. Wouldn't surprise me in this country... :P

nay not bitter, cynical perhaps

to which I again will offer Ambrose Bierce's definition from the Devil's Dictionary

CYNIC, n.
A blackguard whose faulty vision sees things as they are, not as they ought to be.
Hence the custom among the Scythians of plucking out a cynic's eyes to improve his vision.

Oh great.  [roll]  You brought another consumer into the world. Whoop-dee-do. Mother Nature thanks you from the bottom of her trash-strewn, oil-coated heart.
