I just can't stand it any longer!!!!! [bang] [bang] I need to ride!! [moto] But seeing as how I still have trouble getting into the saddle, I think that the Karts will have to do.

My surgery's postponed indefinitely, for now, so I figure it's a good chance to make the most of it.

So who's in for a night over at Go-Kart racer, in Burlingame? I think Sundays and Mondays are the "big track" nights.

I'd like to get something set up in the next two weeks or so.

Any takers?

Do they frown on bringing your own helmet and driving gloves?  [laugh]

My g/f and I are a possible yes. Word of caution, I took home the gold the last and only time I went. 114lbs FTW!

I've never had an issue with using my own helmet or gloves. The only helmet requirement, if you bring your own, is that it must have a clear visor. No dark, mirrored, or tinted visors are allowed. I have one of those Hyper-Optics UV color changey no-foggy thingies in mine,and that's never been an issue.

If you have some motocross or mountain bike gloves, I'd use those over regular riding gloves...not as bulky on wheel.

Dates are entirely subject to majority. Y'all know just how hectic my schedule isn't, so whatever works for the lot of ya!

Yeah, I've never had issues with my helmet either.  Much better than using their loaner helmets.

I'd be in ... I'll be back in town for a little bit after the 16th if it's a weekday this month.

Sundays and Mondays are the SuperTrack days that require a bit pf planning. We were told to schedule a couple of weeks in advance as they are very popular and often booked up. If we go those days I'm definitely in.

Careful leaving though. Some still have the adrenaline going for awhile after racing. I've never seen so much drifting out of a parking lot!  [laugh]

Let's do a Supertrack Day! I did the Monza last time and its kinda weird when you fly by the same corner every 30 seconds or so. It's true they do fill up early, but it's totally worth it. You get the long sweeping track and the technical one too.

So what's the scoop with all of your schedules? Like I said before, I am completely open, so I'm leaving it to majority rules.

i am free all day wednesday thursday and friday this month. if you want to go during the daytime. my evening are sometimes full with husband duties.

I'm doing 12 hour days every week day for the next few months. Weekends are my only free time.

I think Sunday and Monday are the best, since it's the Super Track days. But like I said before, majority rules.

I am up for any w-end...! week days as long as it is from 5pm. on.. 

Sun is the best for me out of the Sun or Mon choice

I have a reprieve from travel over the next week and a half ... woo hoo.  So I'd most likely be in if you guys go.

I could do the upcoming Sunday or Monday, but the following week I'll be out of town.

Off to T-hill. Be back late tomorrow night.

Tentative YES for me. I had surgery yesterday and as long as things heal as they're supposed to it shouldn't be a problem.

Sunday the 29th works for me! Evening is preferable, since I sleep in late. Ya know, the vampire work thing. Tiff'll go but just watching -she's all about the crew chief'ing  [thumbsup]

Evening is fine, but late afternoon'ish is better for me.   Either way, I'm just ready to rip it up.

I need a definite head count by tonight. I want to call the track and see if we can get an entire session to ourselves. If we don't have the minimum, 12, then we'll just fill in with other groups.

Dan, how much is it to ride

First time is a little pricey, about $75... registration fee and race. Otherwise it runs about $35 a race.

I can only do a mid-day meetup. Can't make it in the evening. Count me in or out accordingly.

Sorry Dan, we're out.  C had some transmission issues (we think) come up on the R6 and getting it figured out is taking priority over fun time.
