Does the blue high beam light drive anyone else nuts. I find that at night it is so bright that it kills my vision forward.
Short of putting some electrical tape over it, is there a way to disable the blue dash light?
Am i totally crazy?
your crazy.
well i ride with my high beam on all 90% of the daytime and at night time while mine are off everyone else is riding iwth highbeams on. >:(
if you want to disable it..... its easy.... how steady are your hands? just rip the LED out. :P

black nail polish.
one dot on top to reduce the glare. it will still shine out the sides.
scratch it off later if you want.

great idea - have you guys done this, or am i truly a freak with sensitive eyes?
The high beam indicator light on my wifes BMW is ridiculously bright.
I'm going the black nail polish route.
Leds are directional and your position may be in the main beam.
A dot of black on the top blocks the focused portion of the light.
I've done it on several bikes.
Haven't really experienced that. On the riding with the high beam on in the day time, yes, I do too, sometimes on scanning the gauges i usually have to remind myself it is not the flasher left on! But all good. [thumbsup]

Me too, but I know I have freakishly sensitive eyes. 8)
