Title: SBK fork clearance issue. Post by: Vin on July 25, 2010, 04:28:58 PM Does anybody know how much higher the 748 fork adjustments sit above the triple than a 2007 S2R 1K''s ?
My forks are dialed back a few clicks and there is about half an inch clearance. I am looking at a conversion an want to run bars and do not want a bar riser. Thanks V. Post by: DarkStaR on July 25, 2010, 04:53:05 PM It's not so much the adjusters that are going to be the problem, but the overall fork length (e.g. fork tube sticking out of the top triple).
If you only have 1/2" now, I don't think you'll have room for SBK forks with out changing the bars. http://ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?topic=34191.msg594881#msg594881 (http://ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?topic=34191.msg594881#msg594881) Title: Re: SBK fork clearance issue. Post by: badgalbetty on July 25, 2010, 05:07:00 PM That is a problem. I fitted the speedymoto risers before I put my new forks on and was glad I did. It gave enough clearance.
Now I run Clip ons. (http://i29.tinypic.com/6t2p14.jpg) Title: Re: SBK fork clearance issue. Post by: Vin on July 26, 2010, 01:01:31 AM Crap.
