Title: Rear brake light plunger / pedal adjustment
Post by: csorin on July 29, 2010, 11:45:29 AM
The previous owner of my M620 had moved the rear brake pedal inward towards the engine.  It is now so far inboard that the screw is not hitting the plunger to turn the brake light off.  How do I adjust the alignment of the brake pedal?  It needs to move away from the engine about a 1/4 inch to line up with the plunger switch.

Just bend it out.

This solution would seem to put a lot of strain on the master cylinder.  I'm hoping there is an adjustment screw that I'm missing.

No adjustment in and out.

The plunger is a loose fit in the master.

Like the man said...bend it.

When and If you do bent it, make sure you push the lever down a bit so you don't f' up the switch pin.

I bent it out again.
