Been there, done that. It was like a giant, cancerous tumor was cut out of me! Two and a half years of legal head banging and we didn't even have any kids! The ex just wanted to make me as miserable as humanly possible... ah, wasn't that the reason I wanted out to begin with? [bang] Total waste of money on both sides! I went through three attorneys to make it to the finish line! Still, in the end it was well worth it. I survived the "cancer" and she still has it. What a waste...

Congrats to you, I wish you the best. [thumbsup] Time to enjoy life again! Peace.

the judge ordered my stbx a bucket list of paperwork to be filled out and taxes to be filed. My list of things to be done is complete and I have no further involvement in the case other than showing up on the 10th of September to sign the final paperwork in front of the judge.I am a happy girl!I think some bacon for breakfast is in order ! yummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm! Hope it all goes well for those involved. It's not like I'd like to see my ex hit by falling space debris but she, all by herself, on purpose, drug our divorce out for two and a half years and as I said before we had no kids! [bang] A year after filing and being separated a year before that she found out I was going out with someone. Yeah... my current wife! But we had already split and filed for divorce. That's two years and yeah, I was going out with someone. Would I have cared if she was seeing someone? Hell no! Heck, it might have speeded up the process. Instead she gets her knickers in a wad and tosses out the boat anchor! We were done, over, kaput, zeroed out... and she still had to f#@k me over on about 20 different issues all out of spite. Ugh! So glad that's over and way behind me. I hope none of you have to endure that crap.

On a very positive note, my wife and her ex get along great! He is a terrific guy and I like him. He and I get along great!  He is very involved with their son on a hundred different levels. In fact his current wife and my wife (his ex) also get along great and have actually gone on all girls trips together! Shit, in fact we have all gone on vacations together. He has a little girl with his current wife and we have actually baby sat (sp??) their daughter many times when they couldn't find any one else. Sounds a little weird I know but it is great for the kids and that's what really counts. No issues, no bullshit, no fighting or screaming... nothing. It's actually pretty cool. Guess it makes up for the mess with my ex! [thumbsup]
