Post by: jimmyeguy on August 06, 2010, 08:47:03 AM
2003 Monster sie
There is a flashing thermometer and ---- F next to it on my tachometer when I start the bike. Is this flashing to tell me "not warmed up yet?" or am i in trouble with the antifreeze in it? HELP:-)

It'll do that until the engine temp gets around 125F

Yes.

There's a problem with the antifreeze in your 800.

You'd better go change it.

I'd pay to have the water pump overhauled while you're at it.  May need some new blinker fluid as well.

as you might have figured by now, you're bike is air/oil cooled and these guys are being mean.

assuming you're new to the Ducati, ask away on questions.

there are some very nice 800s on here. both the older and new ones
