Title: Android/tapatalk.
Post by: PhoenixS4R on August 10, 2010, 11:44:11 AM
There is an Android phone OS app that forum administrators can, I guess, add to their forum that puts their forum on a list so that it can be found, and read easier on a 3rd party application called taps talk. I'm currently on my Droid so I can't do extensive research about the subject but was curious if anyone here had tried to implement it or something similar?

http://www.tapatalk.com/plugin.php (http://www.tapatalk.com/plugin.php)

There's the direct link with a small FAQ... Doesn't really list how hard it is to install or what not... From what I can tell it should be compatible with the DMF forum.

Yeah...

it's compatible with our version of SMF, but it 'might' not be compatible with some of the add ons we use like simple portal.

I think we should wait until the reports of forum errors and having to reload all the forum software end.

I'm hoping they sort it out.

It looks like a great app to give mobile phone users a better forum view.

If you happen to follow the topic and see where they solve the issues get back to me.
