Title: ca-cycleworks???
Post by: jc.cyberdemon on August 11, 2010, 06:59:38 AM
so i placed a small order with then a couple of days ago (just some valve cover gaskets). they arrived today and i am very happy with how fast they were. the total was like 18 bucks i think, anyways i opened the package and was kind of amused at the milky-way bar they included and now i am thinking why? i am now wondering do they put it in there just to add weight to the package? if so why? i will continue to place orders with them and can only hope for a snickers bar next time.

I got a KitKat last week.

Can't wait to see what I get in this week's package!

That's a nice touch. I REALLY appreciate not only their super-fast turnaround but the fact they don't try to screw you on shipping.

Maybe they just thought you'd like a free candy bar.  ;)

Probably true in the State of Victoria [laugh].

By the way I forgot to mention I like doing business with true believers (eg Ca-Cycleworks and Brad Black). Better to give your money to fellow nutcases than cold entrepreneurs.

I'm expecting Brad to come up with the snickers bars now. [drool]

i mean, i got my order and i was fine with it and happy even UNTIL I READ THIS GODDAM THREAD

reminds me of the old Gene Berg shop, they would send out ZOTZ with each order.  Order an engine case, get a big roll.. order some heads, get a medium roll..

I was thinking about ordering a bad of candy and hopefully he'll throw in a pair of timing belts or some cool bling parts with the order. You think I'd get a better freebie bonus if I order a bag of "Whatchamacallit" or the bag of "100 Grand" bars?

Wish I could find the write-up/review someone did on the mints back in the day.

"The mints arrived in pristine condition, but I was somewhat concerned with the slight casting mark that ran along their circumference. However, a few touches with some 600 (wet) sandpaper made quick work of the marks and brought out the natural luster of the mints..."

I assure you it is nothing personal! We just started including candy this year and If you didn't get a candy bar in your box of parts it was because we ran out that day. We try not to ever run out, but I personally pack your boxes and can say that it has happened twice.  ??? We are working on never letting it happen again! Love you all for supporting us!!

The little prizes inside may be an expanding trend.  I just purchased a new Miller welder and it came with two, not one, but two pieces of bubble gum.  Now, I can't chew gum and weld at the same time, but I did enjoy my double bubble.

Hahaha! Naw that's not the case. Actually, you CAN hate quickbooks, though. Sh*tastical software tried to put us out of business a few times. Now we're using open source xTuple and Candice can actually GET through the orders every day. This enabled us to invest time in fun things like candy. You, too, can get a care package...

Strangers have the best candy.    ...   I probably shouldn't teach that to the boy.

Heh. heheheh hhh eheheheehh. Thanks for the chuckles.

Naw, its all cool, I was just whining a bit. I'll just have to convince the wife to let me order some upgrades!!! Its time to mod . . . Oh wait, I can't, I just spent $500 on new tires to replace the ones that got slashed a week ago. Dang it, more waiting and saving.
