Title: Valley Freeways Closures & Restrictions Weekend of August 13 ~ 16 Post by: LQQKR on August 13, 2010, 07:08:14 AM 1 Southbound I-17 ramps to I-10 at the 'Stack' closed for freeway widening. Access westbound I-10 by exiting at Thomas or Indian School roads and using southbound 35th Avenue. Use southbound I-17 to reach eastbound I-10 near Sky Harbor Airport. Southbound I-17 on-ramp at McDowell Road closed. Also note Saturday night closure of eastbound I-10 tunnel (listed below).
11 p.m. Friday - 5 a.m. Monday (August 16) 2 Westbound I-10 Tunnel closed between 7th Street and 7th Avenue for lane striping. Southbound SR 51 and westbound Loop 202 ramps to westbound I-10 also closed. Consider northbound I-17 starting near Sky Harbor Airport as alternate route. 10 p.m. Friday - 9 a.m. Saturday (August 14) Eastbound I-10 Tunnel closed between 7th Avenue and 7th Street for lane striping. Consider southbound I-17 as alternate route. 10 p.m. Saturday - 9 a.m. Sunday (August 15) 3 Westbound Loop 101 narrowed to one lane between 56th Street and SR 51 for sign work. westbound Loop 101 carpool lane ramp to southbound SR 51 also closed. 9 p.m. Friday - 9 a.m. Sunday (August 15) 4 Southbound I-17 (narrowed to two lanes overnight between Glendale Avenue and Thomas Road for sign work. Southbound on-ramps at Glendale Avenue and Camelback Road, and off-ramps at Bethany Home and Indian School roads closed. 11 p.m. Friday - 8 a.m. Saturday (August 14) 5 Eastbound I-10 narrowed to one lane between Cotton Lane and Estrella Parkway for freeway widening 11:30 p.m. Friday - 9:30 a.m. Saturday (August 14) I-10 narrowed to one lane in both directions between Verrado Way and Watson Road for freeway widening. 10:30 p.m. Saturday - 9:30 a.m. Sunday (August 15) |
