I am not the biggest fan of the headlight on my 1100. I think it is a combination of the metal bar that bisects the light, the slight oval shape, and the upwards tilt. I kind of prefer the lights on the older models, the simple round lights. Does anyone have a suggestions for aftermarket options (they don't have to be single round lights, I am open to other ideas) and experience with their installation? Pictures of how they look on a 1100 would also be great. I think the install should be a simple process, but looking at the bike, it might end up involving the instrument console since they appear to use the same mounting bracket.
you'll need mounts for the light, turn signals and dash.
the mounts i found are too long and will be cutting them down this week.

That looks pretty good. Where did you find all the needed mounts?
you can get the light mounts anywhere they have bike parts and some have signal mounts on them.
the dash is a different story. you'll have to make that yourself.

Unfortunately, that is what I thought.

Those round lights look great. Any idea who makes them and if they needed to make a custom bracket was needed for the instrument console?
