Background - we moved (woo hoo)
Comcast scheduled to install on 8/3 - guy shows up and tells us the line into the house is dead. He will see what needs to be done.
8/4 Zooomtalks with Comcast - manager tells him she will get the ball rolling and call him back at 2 pm on 8/6
8/6 - no call
8/9 Zooom calls comcast and is told that they will be coming out to hook up the line and should leave a hang tag on our door to let us know it's been done
8/10 Zooom follows up with Comcast and is told it should be done by 8/26 - Miss Utility needs to mark lines and they need to schedule the construction crew out
8/11 Miss Utility marks lines
8/12 I start tweeting about it
8/13 @ComcastBonnie starts asking what's wrong and how can she help. I give her the full story and she gets into action - promises to call us over the weekend
8/15 @ComcastBonnie CALLS - on Sunday no less - we were at Green Turtle watching Moto2
8/16 But still nothing is done
8/17 I go TWEET crazy and Bonnie responds. I tell her that when I spoke to someone at comcast constuction is still not scheduled and that we were talking to other companies
8/17 - 6:10 pm - a supervisor calls Zooom and schedules us for install for Saturday (tried to do it for today but notice was a little short)....(but the cable still hasn't been done outside so we are skeptical)
8/17 - 6:20 pm I TWEET about how absurd it is that they scheduled us without dropping the cable and that I am sure it will fail
8/17 - 6:40 pm COMCAST truck pulls up, guys jump out, start digging and drop the cable.
For the record - I completely believe that if I had not kept complaining online - we would still be sitting and waiting.
