What a bummer for his family. Hopefuly justice is served in civil court.

Update 8/22/10 - IMPD officers demoted for failures in investigation. (http://www.indystar.com/article/20100822/LOCAL/8220357/Fallout-3-top-IMPD-officers-are-demoted)

Small consolation for the families of the injured, but for a public that hasn't had a great deal of faith in IMPD in recent years this is a step forward in terms of accountability.
