Title: Valley Freeways Closures & Restrictions Weekend of August 20 ~ 23 Post by: LQQKR on August 20, 2010, 06:08:46 AM 1 Southbound I-17 ramps to east- and westbound I-10 at the ‘Stack’ interchange closed for freeway widening. Southbound I-17 on-ramp at Thomas Rd. and off-ramp at McDowell Rd. closed. Access I-10 by exiting at Indian School or Thomas roads and using southbound 7th Ave. (for eastbound I-10) or 35th Ave. (for westbound I-10). Drivers also can stay on southbound I-17 for downtown access or to connect with I-10 near Sky Harbor Airport.
11 p.m. Friday – 5 a.m. Monday (Aug. 23) 2 Northbound Loop 101 (Agua Fria Freeway) closed overnight at Union Hills Dr. for bridge work. Traffic will detour along off- and on-ramps at Union Hills Dr. 11 p.m. Friday – 6 a.m. Saturday (Aug. 21) 3 Eastbound Loop 101 (Pima Freeway) closed overnight between Seventh Ave. and Seventh St. in north Phoenix for freeway management system work. Traffic will detour on frontage road. 10 p.m. Friday – 6 a.m. Saturday (Aug. 21) Westbound Loop 101 (Pima Freeway) closed overnight between Seventh St. and Seventh Ave. in north Phoenix for freeway management system work. Traffic will detour on frontage road. 10 p.m. Saturday – 6 a.m. Sunday (Aug. 22) 4 Loop 303 closed in both directions between Peoria Ave. and Waddell Rd. for underground utility work.
