Hey guys/gals,
The time is almost upon us again for the IMOC Rally in Sturbridge. This year it's on 9/19 and as always it's at the Hamilton Rod and Gun club.
http://www.imocusa.com/rally2010.htm (http://www.imocusa.com/rally2010.htm)
In years past we have had a good group get together for breakfast and then a nice ride in through some backroads.
I am offering a place to stay if anyone is interested. I have posted in the general moster forum as well for those who may not be local. I was thinking we could make a weekend of it and do a mini DIMBY at my place.
Who's in for this year?
I will be in NYC that weekend.
hmmm . . . a definite possibility. :P
It is a good show. I was there a couple of years ago and had s good time.
i'm going to try to make it! how will we know who each other is?
In years past we all met early and had breakfast and then rode in together. I am from the area so I offered to lead the ride through some cool backroads.
If anyone is interested I'll gladly do it again.
i'd be coming in from the hartford area... i'd prefer to stay off the mass pike as i'm scared of the toll booths :P
do you plan on rolling in at 10am or a bit later?
Look like I might actually make it. I would be coming from S/E CT. Probably just meet you guys there.
I'll be riding up to the rally from south eastern MA.
Monstermash if you want to meet up for breakfast and ride in together that great.

Cool. Mike (leungevity) is coming up Saturday and spending the night so we can get some breakfast and all ride in together.
Shoot me a pm with your number and I'll call you so we can discuss a meeting place/time.
A big thank you to leungevity and Rob13 for the company riding in today! [thumbsup]
It was a pretty good show and the weather was awesome for a change.
Thanks Mr. Mash for your hospitality and leading the ride in... lots of fun riding in despite being spooked by a patch of sand. The ride was actually better than the show, but the show was fun too :) at least i got to see somebody else's bike with proper Arrow high mount exhaust installation.
I hope that Sharpie bike won an award... it was my fav. for sure.
Thanks to Monstermash for leading the ride to and from the show ,nice roads and at a good pace.
leungevity it was nice to meet and ride with you
It was my first time at the show it was great and I hope to attend next year.

almost 27K...
but little of what I say is relevant. ;D
Granted there isn't much going on in here but I check NEHMA almost every night.
I would've done that IMOC ride but I'm still recovering from knee surgery.
Rode a little today. The CTI brace doesn't like the rear set position.
Maybe we can get some discussion going with roads we like.
I'm on the South Coast of Ma. and kill it in Dartmouth-Westport-Little Compton (R.I.) daily.
North into Acushnet through MIles Standish, Carver and Plymouth.

I think you're close to Rob13. He's a cool guy and a skilled rider. You guys should get together for a ride.
Wow someone else on the south coast of Ma.
There are some nice road in Swansea, Rehoboth, Dighton, and Berkley.
I've done some of the back roads of Westport MA. and Little Compton RI. in the Adamsville area [thumbsup] [moto]
Ya, I've done a couple back road rides to the car auction in Taunton.
Not riding much at the moment. Bad knee and a faulty rear brake, but did a short one Sat.
There are a few Ducati guys around the area. I ride with a hodge podge gang. Often solo thou.
Let's meet up.

Are you kinda tall-ish, thin-ish with brown-ish hair-ish? I thought I talked to you when I pulled up? - so sorry to not say "hi" - I was wandering about with my husband, checking out all the cool bikes - guess it will have to be next time!!

I'm kinda tall-ish (6'1") but I'm not too sure about the thin-ish as I'm about 220#'s. You were already there when I go there so it wasn't me.
