Conan! What is best in life?
To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentation of their women.
I'm still waiting for a U.S. release of the Solomon Kane movie, even though I heard it sucked.
There is no replacing Arnold.
Is there no single unique idea left in Hollywood?

Exactly.
I just finished watching Conan the Barbarian, Conan the Destroyer and Red Sonja recently.
This makes me sad.
But I'll probably still net flix it.
I'm actually surprised it took them this long. After the success of Lord of the Rings I expected a lot of the classic fantasy stories to be made into movies. Elric, Fafrhd and the Grey Mouser, Conan, Kull, or any number of D&D properties should probably have shown up on some script writers list, but nothing ever materialized.
I just put Krull on my netflix list.
I haven't seen that since i was a kid

No single movie has ever made fall asleep faster than Red Sonja.

We also just watched the original clash of the titans.
release the krakan.

I was thinking Excalibur would be remade by now.
I loved that movie when I was a kid. :D
The Clash of the Titans reboot was a pill o' turd.
Haven't seen that yet but it's on my list.
One remake I did like, as well as the original very much, was The Day the Earth Stood Still
If the story was actually anything true to the original Robert E. Howard tales I'd be excited, but of course it won't be. Hollywood ruins everything.
i was waiting for the Conan reboot with Fabio as Conan.. alas.... [puke]
