Hey gang,

 I recently posted a bike for sale in our classified section and 1KDS made a comment that he couldn't keep up with all the bikes I've owned. Or something like that. Lol.

 Anyway, it made me think about the bikes I've owned and I wondered if I was the only one besides Dr. Desmosedici that changes bikes like other people change underwear.

 So with that in mind, I am interested in how many of you have changed bikes frequently over the years and what you've owned/changed to since your first Ducati.

Remember, I rode the ST4S over to your house when I picked it up from Baltimore? Sold it ... 3 days later?  ;D

Oh, and the VFR800 was sold just before I moved in across the street from Aria ... Had staintunes and some other fun stuff on it, great ST bike  [thumbsup]

I ain't doing this. It's self indulgent. I've owned too many scooters and have too many running and not running. I'm sure I'm violating some state or national law. At least I keep the rented storage unit folks happy. ;D

Looking good.  What is the tail section you have on there?

Looks vaguely reminiscent of a Darma tail section.  Do you know what kind of tail light you are going to use?  Do you have a thread going about this SBK project?

I'm definitely aware of those threads, waiting for their progress almost as much as mine.  I'm up for a combo thread.

'99 Monster 900 (soon to be 944, I believe)
Clipons, Billet Triples, FCR41s, TCIP4, V2 Cam Pulleys, V2 High Torque Cams, Nichols Flywheel, Sil Moto/NCR spaghetti headers and ti pipes, lightweight primary gears, lightweight clutch, penske rear, rt front, ohlins damper, bunch o' other things all over - carbon & billet. bike doesn't look very stock anymore.

'03 748 Mono ("SBK 966" pile of parts: non. adj. steering head frame, 900ie motor - no longer ie)
V2/STM Lightweight pulleys, lightweight primary gears, V2 Race cams, MBP collets, lots of billet pieces, nearly all titanium bolts/pivots, bst wheels, and a very fun future paint job in the works.

Working on getting my lady a Monster or perhaps HYM796

FYI, that SP was a 1996, not a 1992.  [cheeky]

ALSO, I don't see the Honda Hawk GT and CB360T on there.  ;)

This was my first one, a '98 M900, which I worked on a lot to get it into this condition --

While I had it and was trying to get it to handle like a superbike I bought this one and worked on even more to to get it to the state in this picture ----

But then, after the B**** stabbed me in the back with electrical problems, I sold her (much to my regret later on) and wound up with this (and I had to sell the M900 to help purchase and then start modifying)

That empty bar end has since been plugged with a nice Rizoma end cap.

I still see the old M900 and even got to take it around the block a couple of times this last weekend.  It's still an animal!!  [evil]

The M900 was/is good fun ---- the 999 was the best looking ---- the 848 is the best overall so far (but only with all the mods I've made)
