Does anyone have a recommendation of a good easy to use video ediotr like Windows Movie Maker? but will work for all file types and not just avi and microsfot formats?
Apples Final Cut
Adobe Premier
is premier hard to use?
[laugh]
Final cut is the benchmark
sorry. no
AVID is the benchmark
BUT...
Final Cut is pretty easy to use, about the same as Premiere Pro.
You need to look at your budget. THEN decide.
I was talking about either free, or has a student version cause my school carries all of them for $25 bucks. thats how i got windows 7 and office and etc.
Adobe Premier is a make the beast with two backsing trainwreck of a program.
It is not a beginners program plus if you don't illegally download it or get it from someone, I believe it is expensive.

Easiest program to use.
And it is very good.
I use version 12, but not sure if they make it anymore, they are up to 14.
Best bang for your buck.
I want to say it is about 100$
If you go to www.viddler.com (//http://) and search CyrusBuelton or Cyrus Buelton (cant remember) you'll see a video I edited with it.
I didn't take much time to do it, so it is kind of a hack.
However, I did video Motogpfan and his ex-wife's wedding a few years ago and edited the entire thing in Pinnacle.
It actually looks somewhat professional on the editing front..........I can't say the same from my ability to use a video camera.
btw He-Man........going to be in northern NJ and a trip or 2 into NYC this weekend
taking our new jetta to a friend in northern NJ who puts the 3M coating on cars and the 3m carbon window tint.
Saving a boatload of money and we haven't seen him in a few years.
PM me for details.

+1 Installed this for my mom on her PC, was pretty impressed with what it does.
No need to get Final Cut. It's simple, I use it everyday, but it's a pro app and definitely isn't free (and hard to pirate nowadays).

Times are changing, Raux. ;)
That they are, surprising how many shows are edited entirely in FC. Jarhead, Zodac, 300, and No Country for Old Men just off the top of my head.
Check out Sony Vegas. It's dead easy and really powerful.
