The one marked "Submit Application" on the CU Boulder web page. Should hear a yea or nay some time in December.
Fingers crossed for Fall 2011.
Good luck James.
That will turn out in your favor. I'm sure!

Thanks, guys.
Hopefully my SECOND attempt at to become an enginerd will work out better than the first one.
Should be fun being a college freshman again. At 30.
Oh boy! Exciting... I want to go back to school, but with a mortgage I'm too much of a chicken to do it. Good for you for taking just a big leap.
Which flavor of nerd are you trying to get a degree in?
Woot!!! (Said with a bit of envy as I would LOVE to get my masters.)
Let us know when you head this way and if you need a place to stay if/when you come out to look at places to live!

Mechanical. They've got a biomedical emphasis that looks interesting. But let's be honest: I just want to design blingy go-fast bits for my bike.

Congrats to Jonas and his crystal ball. [clap]
CU took until February to decide that they didn't want me. I took a (drunken) weekend to regroup and applied to CSU.
Got acceptance notification this afternoon. Fort Collins it is.
...one step closer to DITR. [evil]
Congrats on CSU!!
CONGRADS James!
Fort fun is WAY cooler than hippie town. tuition should be a bit less to i believe
/insert lexus/toyota comparison here...
i might even still know some folks there (no promises) so if you need anything...
and actually, it's probably as step further away from DITR...relatively speaking
Yeah, but it's a hell of a lot closer than South Carolina, where I am now. ;)
Bout the only thing I can think of that I could really use at this point is some advice on neighborhoods. Any place(s) to stay away from at all costs? Any place to try for? I'm hoping for something residential and on a bus route, but that's about as far as I've gotten at this point.
Rock on dude!
Kick ass, take names
;D
Run up to Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park.
If you play Golf there's a decent Golf Course in Fort Collins.
If you're into Mountain climbing Long's Peak isn't very far away and can be summit it without too much trouble , it a 14 teen.
In Fort Collins you are right up against the foothills of the Rockies.
If you drive East about 45 minutes to Greeley you can see all the Peaks of the Rockies.
Dolph :)
Congrats!
I think you'll like Ft. Fun!
There's a bunch to do in/around the area.
When are you headed out?
Fixed for you, DE:

Pre-welcome to our neck of the woods.
And [beer] to CSU.
Thanks everybody!
It feels nice to actually know what I'm going to be doing next year, rather than just "getting out of the Navy in June and then..."
