525exc here. Nothing much to compare it to, tits my first dirtbike. It's been a trouble-free blast so far!
I would trade the ss for one of those. Even a pink one.

Lotsa $$$ for those.
I was offered the 530 with both street and dirt rollers, ktm unobtanium triples, pipe etc for $5k by one of the owners of the local ktm dealer...
Low miles/ hrs too.
I think a 690 would run me more...

Adjusting the valves every 20 hours and changing the oil in half the time is a pain....which is why I no longer bother putting the SM setup on my 525.
