is there any way to power wheelie a m696?

does any one have a 46t or 47t rear thats doing power wheelies ?

my sprocket setting right now is 14t and 45t rear




 

search the ducati stunt team. they are using Ducati 696

Is anyone on this forum lifting the front tire on there monster ?

I have lifted the tire on take off  but that's it.

Sort of difficult to power wheelie a 696 because you will be hitting redline so quickly. I'll try it after I get my bike fixed.  ;D

My guess, one of the springs on the shifter mechanism snapped. Most likely the middle one. Bike is stuck in 2nd and un-ridable until I get it to a dealer to get it fixed under warranty.

Of course this happened after I moved back to college and have no tools and no other vehicle. And Ferracci is 3 hours away...

My uncle lost his leg from the knee down doing this. Foot peg ripped the leg right off.

No smart ass, he shifted into 2nd too hot and went down. The sliding on pavement with his leg under the bike is what ripped it off. Oh, and he crawled to the nearest house for help.

Well then, if one is incapable of doing this they shouldn't try it.

Are you trying to get a rise out of me? Pretty make the beast with two backsing disrespectful to insult someone who went through such a traumatic event. FYI he had been riding for over 20 years at the time of injury.

Kinda funny that we have rules to ban folk for responding inappropriately to the bait-casting of others and yet allow the posting of threads such as this promoting inappropriate behaviour on a motorcycle  [laugh].   But even those who believe that pulling the "power wheelie" is a sensible activity will surely agree that at the very least such a thread has little to do with a board for "Accessories and Mods".  Perhaps our mods could move it to the "I'm a juvenile on a Big-boy's Toy" thread or some other more appropriate place than this.
