OK, so all of you fan boys and girls out there of the Hyperdunks from Back to the Future 2 actually do stand a chance at one day in the near future getting a pair of power laces!
From the movie:

Nike Production (nonfunctional but look alike):

Proof of concept - updated to version 2:
Power Laces 2 PROTOTYPE DEMO (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k_Efr2TaEPo&feature=player_embedded#normal)
...and the day power laces go into production, lines at stores will be longer than the day Apple released the Ipad! [cheeky]
LOL - count me in!
GREAT SCOTT!

I only want the shoes if I can get the hover board to go with them.

LOL Yes I will buy a pair... may not ever wear em but as a child of the 80's I feel obligated to buy them. ;D

LOL, yeah they'll have to make a disclamer for packaging that says "Hoverboard Not Included" [cheeky]
I only want the hover board. I don't even wear sneakers anymore. Most of the time I'm wearing these.

I don't think I own anything with laces.

Those are like my Merrels I like so much! Shock cord laces are awesome!
JM
I will not be buying a pair of them since I collect Hiking / Trekking Boots from Italy and Germany for Winter everyday Footwear.

Dolph :)
i learned how to tie my shoes when i was 5 i think.
kids today are starting high school without knowing how...
i actually had an employee several years back who was unable to properly lace up his boots. he had never owned footwear that required the ability to tie laces. needless to say, he was not with us for long.
Yes I know how to tie my shoes, known since I was a kid, just don't think I own anything with laces.
What does that curved line on the side of the shoes represent?

It looks like a logo of some sort, maybe a swoosh. [evil]
