All Yamis, eh?  That's actually not that bad a call, but its likely to be split by Casey or make the beast with two backswad McFastbikedoucheyrider (which is about the easiest thing in the world to say).  I really have no idea anymore.  This season has gone differently than I thought it would other than the fact that Lorenzo is tearin' it up.

				I would have said
1.) SmurfyMcDouchnozzle
2.) Lorentho
3.) Rossi

and apparently Casey thinks there is nothing more to be gained from the GP10...loosely paraphrasing from his comments publicly yesterday....

I think Casey has already packed it in, and has fallen firmly back into his blame game antics... not that he ever left.  I'm wondering if Rossi will have surgery on his shoulder after the Valencia test?
Honda seems to have finally worked out the kinks.  Casey picked the perfect time to defect back, and if Pedro remains healthy could have a shot at his first title next year.  I haven't seen Pedro ride this aggressive since 2006.

Unusual for Pedrobot to be on pace so quickly.
Not good for the rest of the troops.
I like seeing Dovi up there, hope he can qualify well.
Lots of track time left before Sunday....

Interesting, I remember reading somewhere that Lorenzo might have to start from the pits to cash in a new engine pretty soon.

				 [popcorn] [popcorn] [popcorn] [popcorn] [popcorn]
The race is in the air. Cattolica, Rimini, and Tavullia are hopping...there are signs like this one everywhere in Cattolica:

...and all the Vale 46 flags have accompanying Ducati Corse flags.
We rented scooters and went up to Tavullia today:

I loved the comment that rossi made about stoner...and sad news as well for the loss in moto2

Tomizawa passed away after a horrific crash in Moto2.  That was just awful to watch.  Its hard to care much about the races after seeing that happen to Shoya.  19 years old and it comes on the back of losing Lenz.
May he rest in peace.  At least he died doing something he loved.

				RIP

Terrible news. I heard no mention of it at the track, but just saw it upon arrival in Bologna. Rest in Peace...

As opposed to Lorenzo all the other times?
As much as I hate to see a boring race, credit must be given where credit is due. This win was much more Honda's than Pedrosa's. Everybody was running on tired engines except the Hondas; and all Lorenzo has to do to win the championship is finish the races.

Que? Did I say anything about Gomer losing the Championship because of these 2 races? I was just applauding Pedrosa's  effort.
Now go read a book.  ;D

MotoGP was another yawn fest... Wake me when it's interesting again. [roll]
RIP Tomizawa, a bloody shame.  :(

after the spit flying between rossi and stoner in the media before the race, rossi passing him and then putting 9 seconds on him is.. funny.
wow pedro.

Since when did Honda decide they were going to go back to building rocketship GP bikes?!?
Spies got a make the beast with two backsed-up start.  He's gotta work on the first coupla laps.  Actually, in general, his starts are good.  It's just the first coupla laps that suck.
What happened to Simoncelli?
Suzuki is really benefitting from the new engine allotment.

That Moto2 crash was soo make the beast with two backsed up.  I watched the crash and then called The Blonde into the room to rewatch it a coupla times.  I apologized to her later when I found out that he'd died.  That was just gruesome.
I really thought both Redding and De Angelis were both going to be messed up too.  De Angelis was struck from behind by a bike as he was sliding (good thing he's armored).  And Redding looked like he'd broken his leg and/or back.
I know that a giant controversy is brewing, but I was surprised that they didn't throw a red flag.  We'll find out later if it would have made a difference or not, but it seemed weird at the time and even more weird now.  IIRC, there was some dispute a few years ago about someone (Hoffman?) being left in the Corkscrew is severe pain w/o Race Direction throwing the flag.  Dorna was on the PR-problem immediately though, holding a press conference as to why no flag was thrown.  I'm not sure the answers were satisfying and expect we'll keep hearing more about this for a while.

				indeed, rough.   :(
heard later that Redding is mostly ok, i think.
if you were De Angelis wouldn't you get the message by now?  stay away from motorcycles, pal.

Redding had 10 stitches in his back from a laceration.  Didn't sound too bad.
To find humor in the tragedy, I chuckled when well before the crash the Speed announcers commented that the other racers were calling De Angelis "Alex Dangerous."

Waddya think about Nicky just sitting out Misano next year?  Or starting the Race from Turn 2 after everyone has gone past.  It'll save the team the cost of repairing the bike.
