believe it or not I suck at Scrabble

I always go for great words not the points

and consequently I lose...the board looks better...

but I lose

I've played Scrabble maybe 3 times in my entire life...

I always hold out for great words and by the time I get them it's too late and the game is over.  :-\

I remember trying to make verisimilitude happen...  it didn't.    [laugh]

verisimilitude, Pontificating,  Bloviator, I don't even know what those mean, and the software doesn't seem to know what Bloviator is either because its red lined. No I'm probably not going to look them up either.

Ok I looked up Pontificating,... so what, I'm not going to use it in a sentence.

fyi, the trick to winning is knowing 2- and 3-letter words (and how to use them to make multiple words per turn).

I always think of the word(s) that would have won the game........at 3am after the game has long since been put away.

Damn that lead paint!
