Title: Looking for new seat for my M750 Post by: speedknot on September 07, 2010, 07:46:11 AM I currently have a Sargent seat for my 01 Monster 750. It has the yellow piping to match my tank color and its made extremely well but with my skinny ass, its not all that comfortable and is made very W-I-D-E. I like the stock seat better but I love the way the yellow piping is on the Sargent. Is there a company out there who makes covers or makes a seat that fits the dimensions of the stock seat that could be make with the yellow accent?

I'm sure you'll be happy with the result. If you plan to install the cover yourself just take your time and follow the directions. Get your hands on an upholstery gun and make sure you use stainless staples - you don't want them corroding or rusting over time. Use a heat gun or hairdryer to soften the material and pull it taught as you go along. And don't staple near any seams as you could tear the threads. It's a huge headache to restitch the seams once the cover is 1/2 installed... I know this for a fact. He does nice work and for what he charges is not really worth doing it myself. By the time I track down an upholstry gun and stainless staples, he'll have it banged out in less than an hour.
