Here we have a 2006 Xerox 999R Replica of a WSBK w, 1350 miles.
What do you think would be a fair price to pay for this bike ?
Service records are available.

Dolph :)
I'll give you $4 for it. [evil]
Would you accept "Everything in my checking account" ?
*crosses fingers and laughs quietly to himself*
Seriously, though, I don't know. There's an '06 'R' on eBay right now with a starting bid of $17,500, but nobody has placed any bids on it. It's not a Xerox, either.
I'm looking to buy the bike .......that's why I'm asking what members would think a fair price would be to pay for it.
Dolph :)
I think $11,500-13,500.00 would be a good deal for you, if they want more I would walk away. 1098R's with low miles are selling close to $20k now.

My local dealer has an '05 999R (non replica) with 2.6k miles on it for $15k. Been there a couple years at least...

The 1st one is misleading...it is a 1098 S for $15,000.
The 2nd one is a 1098 R for $26,000.
Thanks D.

I know this isn't any use to you Dolph but I delivered A 2005 999r xerox rep up to county durham 2 weeks ago in part exchange for a 2008 S4Rs tricolore, the 999r had 3000miles on the clock, full service history and was in mint condition,( I mean like new) the price that the bike sat on the shop floor was 10,000pounds, I don't know what the shop payed for the tricolore but the customer was delighted with the deal... Thanks Geoff.
That's an interesting scenario.

One of my customers got an '05 999R in plain red for about $12k here in CA.
Reportedly the Ti rods had been removed.
Even the plain CF body parts are *very* expensive, I'd recommend hanging some plain or track plastic on it, put the Xerox stuff in the attic.

I hear what you're sayin' but half the fun is ridin' a bike that looks like a WSBK of it's time.
I think others would find it cool to see .
Dolph :)
Yeah, true.
Just FYI:
Regular 999 fairing side: upper and lower parts and the slat at the front = $1.2k
999R fairing side: one piece deal plus the slat = $4.8k

Yikes ???

That's just a plain red 999R sidepanel, not the Xerox stuff.
Well, kinda plain, red paint with exposed carbon in areas.

Is that more than my 1098 R's ?
The Xerox one must be out of site !

Dunno, haven't had a road-rashed 1098R in my shop.

Yeah, w, only 450 of them in the U.S. you might not see 1 very often.

Well, here is one:

and I know of another for $20k even with less miles. ;)
what makes the 999r so much? what is the appeal of them? never really heard of them except for the body work looks different.
