Check out this single cylinder street fighter type bike from Yamaha. I wish they sold it here. I think it looks great. I like the unique shock on the side look. The headlight is funky, but not too weird. It has a nice upright seating position. The radiator is well integrated and doesn't look like something from a car.

Looks sort of similar to the gladius, probably great ergos, the shock is interesting but that side of the bike looks busy in the motor section
eh, I'd hit it.
I like it. [thumbsup]And that seat looks super comfy.
twin cans?
[thumbsup]
On the bright side, we have 546,789 different cruisers to choose from. :-\
I do dig the fusion b/w an offroad and a street naked, but I hear it's got bad gas consumption.

My thumper has twin cans, I believe it helps reduce dB levels to meet noise regulations. At least on my KTM.
The naked bike craze is just going wild, but that is good, SBKs are just too much for most of us. Bikes are for cruising around and smelling the country side:) ohhhh, I can see me getting flamed! [cheeky]
This thing is about 4 years on the market overhere , it's a bit slow , but i always liked it
Think KTM has nicer ones
now everything looks like the gladius? I think not.
I like it. Er6n competitor? Looks like the same 660cc motor as fitted to my favourite go-anywhere bike (which also has twin exhaust)..

Exactly, I think that is what I like about it. Also the headlight looks just like the aftermarket Spielger headlight, which id one of the few aftermarket headlights I like.

Nicer looking or just a better bike. We get the KTM 690 Duke over here. I don't really like it when I see pictures, but something about it is very appealing when I see it in the real world. I should try one soon. I like the listed weight of 327 lbs.
Speaking of KTM's, that new 125 looks awesome so far. That is another bike we will not be seeing in the U.S.

That is why Europeans rule the road racing scene. FIM allows younger racers to start earlier in their racing career by riding little bikes like these. I know, Ben Sipes is not European...I can here it in someone's head. [moto]
Never hear of Ben Sipes...is he any good? ;D

You've never been Sipes hunting?
It's usually done at racetracks at night.
Back on topic, I really like the lighter, smaller bikes. Too bad the U.S. is seen as only supporting huge cruisers so those of us that may want something less counterculture have to be envious of the Europeans.
It's weird how manufacturers say they won't bring certain bikes (or other products) over here because they don't think they will sell. Unfortunately, it seems like the US is left without the option of buying some of the coolest machines the world has to offer.
I agree with superjohn about the abundance of big cruisers. Seems like we only have a handful of naked bikes to choose from, and almost none of them are the "fun", lightweight bikes that would probably sell very well here.

Here's my new thumper, a WR250X. I bought it as a daily commuter, now it's all I want to ride!! I have a 696 and a Sport1000. This thing is the perfect bike to ride through traffic. I even ride it in the canyons! After doing all the mods, it goes like a Mfer! All the power you'd want on the street, super light, super nimble, behaves perfectly in the corners. I absolutely LOVE this fricken bike!!!

Don't forget that it can easily run over curbs and whining people. :D
Those pics of the KTM 125 are from the International show, as far as I know that bike isn't available in Europe either.
The pic below is from 2007 of a KTM 690 Stunt, that KTM was looking for customer feedback in 07 to see if there was enough interest to build it.
I will do my best on my 690 to get this look. I won't go to a SSS, nor will I change the color of mine.
