  I was doing some electrical work at one of our plants and spied this....Ducati capacitors!

Yes I have. Its mounted next to the crankshaft, its more commonly known as the flux capacitor. Kaleco sells cheap knockoffs.

Ducati Electronica still exists, renamed Ducati Energia.  but is now a separate company rather than a division..  They are the supplier of OEM voltage regulators for thew Honda Hornet.

Hmmm...Ducati uses Japanese regulators...

and Honda uses Ducati regulators.

Ain't that odd.

they are usually start capacitors not run caps like the one in the op,

Ain't that odd.

Not as odd as it seems.  The Hornet is built in Italy and has Italian content to avoid taxes.
