He probably rides motocross as a training past time. Most of these dudes do and it is awesome for all street riders to ride offroad. Not making light of what he did, but it is not out of this world, there is a crest, they are carrying lots of speed and the suspension compresses, it HAS to rebound and voila, lift off! In motocross, when one sits down on the bike like that, it is called "seat-bouncing," in a sense, it helps compress the suspension for more spring or pop as some call it. Another thing, because it is crest they give it a bit of gas, that "giving" it gas, compresses the suspension a little as well. Title: Re: Awesome riding! On the up ramp to the jump I use a lot of throttle but more importantly I keep a lot of lean angle even though its going to be leaving the ground. I stay sat down until the take off point where I stand up as the bike takes off. I get over the front a little because the acceleration makes the front comes up a bit. If the bike stays to level I may give it a rev in the air to get the front up.
