Title: The next question: what fenders fit on a 2000 Monster 750?
Post by: bunnyman666 on September 15, 2010, 08:45:14 AM
The stock fender is WEAK. I feel like it's going to break at any minute. I also wouldn't mind something different.

What else can I put on there?

That is GREAT news!!!!

Now I can get something with some personality, made from fibreglass, (or carbon), and be different.

Thanks a mint!!!!

Those fenders will do a much better job of protecting your tubes.

There may be some others that fit too. I'm sure someone will pipe up.

I am just happy as hell that I can get a different fender for the bike. Airtech is going to make mine from glass- around $90USD shipped, opposed to $316 for a brand-new Ducati unit.

I wouldn't use airtech.

The quality isn't very good IMO.

Good luck with it.

Then whom?
Why not get a used OEM plastic?

If your budget will allow there are all kinds of carbon fenders out there both new and used.

I suppose I could get used plastic. Maybe I got good specimens, but I have always had good luck with Airtech ???

I used to build my own CF bicycle parts; however, I had to sell EVERYTHING when I went into a non-compete about five years ago. I have two years to go... :P Anyway- I thought their fibreglass stuff was decent; certainly you can find damned near anything you need for your bike.

You can find anything from them.

The experiences I've had with their stuff wouldn't lead me to pay money for any of it.
