Question:
If a bug makes it into your helmet and into your mouth, what would you do?
Option 1: Spit it out into your helmet.
Option 2: Swallow and be done with it.
Option 3: Chew, just to prove your badass status!
Option 4: Hold it in your mouth, pull over, and set it free.
Option 5: Spit bug onto boobies (for you, Bacon J.)
OK, I am cruising to work at about 10pm tonight and was fortunate enough to have a Pterodactyl (or a moth) fly up into my helmet and directly into my mouth. I am not sure how the critter managed to pull off such daring acrobatics, but it did. It was an anxious couple of seconds considering it was dark and I wasn't exactly going the speed limit. Choices were to spit it into my full face helmet and let him free to choose another hole to venture into , or swallow it and go on about my business. What would you do?
You didn't allow multiple choices to be selected, so I just chose the first thing I'd do...
I'd chew it up then spit it out.
That way you don't have to worry about it finding its way back into your mouth.
Definitely swallow! Bugs are remarkably nutritious, as are worms. Both happen to be delicious.

I don't know.
Some bugs're extremely bitter.
Protein, Yum!!
You didn't give the option to chew it up and swallow so I voted just swallow. Only bugs I wouldn't are the "Stink Bugs" such as the squash bug. They smell terrible so I can only imagine they taste horrible also. Oh, and you have to be really quick with the bees; you have to crunch before they sting. [laugh]
Please add immediate puke fest in the helmet to your poll.
another thread with a misleading title...
open my visor and spit it out... if it doesn't make it out of the helmet stick my hand through my visor and fetch it...

That can be arranged. [evil]
Open my Visor and spit it out.

probably just swallow it and then pull over and lick tarmac to get the taste out of my mouth.

I was afraid that the spunky title and boobie content might be a bit risque
I'd purse my lips and wipe it away with the gloved index finger on my left hand.
Well If you really loved yourself...

There's always room for boobies!

a moth would be different than a standard bug. Moths are dusty. Crickets are crunchy.
A moth would be really hard to swallow. I would spit it out if it hadn't already gone past the point of no return. I've swallowed plenty of mosquitoes and black flies. Sometimes they get to a point where there's no coming back.

I know I'm definitely disappointed after reading this title...
I remember when I was a kid and peddling up a steep hill on my bicycle and panting and struggling to get up this hill when this june bug flew straight into my mouth. I had no choice but to swallow and keep on going and worry about it later.
Moths would suck to swallow and I know a guy who went down after a freaking out when a bee got in his helmet.
A few years ago I got a bee in my helmet once myself and it ended up buzzing around by my ear. after I freaked out for a half second I just pulled out on the side of my helmet to create air flow and it flew out. that would have been a bad, bad thing.
I have had my fair share of assorted bugs on my bicycles. This was just the first bug that was ram air inducted at 80mph.
Lol "ram air inducted"
