Hello Tech Team,
I installed a charger to my 620 Monster and have a couple of questions. Basically I have this old iphone that the battery goes dead really quick for some reason. I updated to a new phone so now I'm using the old 3g phone on my bike for Navigation, Music, etc. A
Now, what I wanted to know is about the way I have it connected. I have it connected to the battery red/black cable but notice the power is on at all times on the usb light led. Would this be a issue draining the battery power? I removed the usb connector and just have the main connection on now with the waterproof cap over the plug end. I was wondering should I connect it to another wire that is trigger by the ignition start such as the headlights or just leave it as is.

If you have nothing plugged in, it is not a power drain to the battery. If something IS plugged in, even with the bike off it will drain power because it is connected directly to the battery. If you want to be able to leave things plugged in you need to attach it to an accessory wire such as tapping the turn signal wiring.
As is, you can just leave the rubber plug in the adapter and it won't drain the battery. :)
