Title: Did any other model Monster come in the Tri Colore colour scheme? Post by: Stinky Wizzleteats on September 23, 2010, 06:08:53 PM ???
Just saw a 2001 Monster 900 with this colour scheme and was wondering if it was original. Title: Re: Did any other model Monster come in the Tri Colore colour scheme? Post by: Speeddog on September 23, 2010, 06:18:45 PM AFAIK, only the S4Rs was an official TriColore.
Perhaps there was a 'Monza Pace Bike Edition'. [cheeky] Title: Re: Did any other model Monster come in the Tri Colore colour scheme? Didn't think it was original, but was just curious. Title: Re: Did any other model Monster come in the Tri Colore colour scheme? Post by: Speeddog on September 23, 2010, 07:01:41 PM There's others here that know the history better than I. [moto]

Post by: Rameses on September 24, 2010, 01:01:50 PM For that price it better come with some of the crack that the seller's been smoking. (Is that a fork reflector stuck to the belt covers?) And no, that's not original paint. The S4Rs was the only factory tri-colore. Title: Re: Did any other model Monster come in the Tri Colore colour scheme? Looks like there is another reflector on teh other side on the engine casing. [roll] And it is in Australia, and that price may be a little higher than average, but that is somewhat normal. Why I haven't got one at the moment. Cheapest I've found so far is a 2000 model 900 for $5500. Was in the process of buying a 98 900S for $6500 until the wife found out. :'( In hindsight, she was right. But I'll never admit that to her. ;) |
