Title: Jesse Rooke Customs Post by: Jimmy Ducati on September 24, 2010, 08:57:15 AM This guy makes some interesting bikes. I'm kinda partial to "MotoGP", Chop Shop" and "Scrambler54". I love the single sided swingarm and virtually no visible tank. I believe that is his patented design on the swingarm. I dig where he is going.

Title: Re: Jesse Rooke Customs Post by: DucofWestwood on September 24, 2010, 10:00:49 AM i like "phyllis" ... i have no desire to ride a bike like that, and the name is horrible, but i love to look at it

Title: Re: Jesse Rooke Customs Post by: il d00d on September 24, 2010, 11:46:33 AM This is nice work, but I, like many moto enthusiasts, am kind of suffering chopper fatigue. I wish we could go back in time and substitute every OCC-inspired monstrosity with one of these. More machine, less bling.

Title: Re: Jesse Rooke Customs Post by: Unhinged on September 24, 2010, 03:56:23 PM Yeah some of the flat out choppers don't do much for me, especially with those hard tails. That said, I really like those girder front ends. Very cool [thumbsup]

Title: Re: Jesse Rooke Customs Post by: superjohn on September 24, 2010, 04:24:09 PM I am so burned out on custom choppers. His stuff is interesting and I think I should like it, but after all the American Chopper and Biker Build-Off I couldn't care less.
Title: Re: Jesse Rooke Customs Post by: kopfjäger on September 24, 2010, 04:44:12 PM I dig his bikes. If I had the jingle, I'd own one. 8)

His stuff is interesting and I think I should like it, but after all the American Chopper and Biker Build-Off I couldn't care less. I agree, all these so called choppers look the same and every time I pass one of these guys on the road and I see their asses pouncing the potholes I can't help but think that their ass is numb and their hemorroids are about to burst. I've riden a hardtail ONCE never again! I rather walk. Title: Re: Jesse Rooke Customs Post by: zarn02 on September 27, 2010, 03:08:46 PM Nothing says "MotoGP" like this...

And bores the shit outta me... Title: Re: Jesse Rooke Customs Post by: speedknot on September 27, 2010, 04:11:34 PM More choppas? There's always room for one more. Seriously though, some of his frame designs and front ends are unique in their own way. Some of the choppers look like a cross between the old converted Schwinn bikes and bobbers. Kinda nostalgic. I've ridden a few custom choppers, and I'm glad I did before I bought one, because they ride like shit. But they do look nice. ;)

Title: Re: Jesse Rooke Customs Post by: Jimmy Ducati on September 28, 2010, 06:45:08 AM I like most anything with 2 wheels. I love motorcycles, mountain bikes, and road bikes. I've got a small fortune invested in each.
I like Chica's stuff as well. I would never buy one of these as my everyday ride, I think the monster will have that covered for a while, but if I had the ching to have a quiver of bikes then I would be all over a Chica, Rooke, Sands and just for giggles and maybe getting it on TV .... a Paul Jr. Design Monster'ish street fighter, just to see what he comes up with. Say what you will it would be cool to have your bike built on TV. Title: Re: Jesse Rooke Customs Post by: orangelion03 on September 28, 2010, 09:40:00 AM Slotard is fantastic!!! That's some out-of-the-box thinking there, brilliantly executed.
Title: Re: Jesse Rooke Customs Post by: Travman on September 28, 2010, 03:25:23 PM Chica has always been my favorite of the HD builders.
I love how small his Rumbler bike looks. (http://chicacustomcycles.com/chica_bikes/rumbler/bike_rumbler005.jpg) (http://chicacustomcycles.com/chica_bikes/rumbler/bike_rumbler002.jpg) |
