Well, I showed to all you on the DMF FIRST to get your feedback, and THAT gave me the incentive to send the photos of my
Sharpie Edition S2R to Cycle World mag. So now it's actually in their mag and on their site now - and I am absolutely THRILLED!!
http://www.cycleworld.com/first_motorcycle_ride/special_features_articles/10q3/sharpie_ducati_-_special_feature (http://www.cycleworld.com/first_motorcycle_ride/special_features_articles/10q3/sharpie_ducati_-_special_feature)
Ducati North America also put it on their facebook page, but didn't include my name!!!
If anyone had told me last year that this would be happening, I would NEVER have believed them in a zillion years!
I finally heard from the "Sharpie" people, and they are going to put me on their blog with an interview, and hopefully with all this exposure,
it will lead to SOMETHING to make me a few $$$ - because I'm already thinking of my next Ducati - (a used ST-something) for longer trips!
I'm also doing my first track day in Monticello, and am very excited about it!!
PINCH ME NOW - I might be dreaming all this!!!
That is awesome. Congrats!

[clap]
I was up visiting friends and they had that issue sitting on their kitchen table, so we talked about it a while. Cool stuff. [thumbsup]
Amazing work, congrats!
Looking through the slideshow on the link, I can see all of the little details that you put into this. Wow, it took a lot of talent and imagination to do what you did what your bike!
I always did like what you did with your monster.
Well-deserved recognition [thumbsup] Congrats to ya ;D
That looks totally cool! I hope that's not a plastic tank though. :-\
Congratulations!!! I had that CW issue with me on the plane ride and caught my neighbor sneaking a peek...didn't say whether he liked it or not, but he seemed to know it was a Monster. [clap]
Congrats, well deserved! [thumbsup]
Again, congrats!! I've got that Cycle World on my desk next to my keyboard. [thumbsup] Showed the article and pics to my wife (who hates scooters by the way... [bang]) and even she thought is was really cool. Her comment was, "My God, how long did that take??" [laugh]
Very cool - I actually saw the article while browsing the magazine the other day! Congrats!
Piling on with the congrats.
It seems like it was a few weeks ago that I picked up CW at a Penn Station news stand and saw the article and that was after I'd seen your posts here on DMF.
Awesome :) Congrats! Don't forget about us little people...

Yeah it is - but the bike was in storage for the first few years, so no ethanol - I'm having it lined with the epoxy-stuff this winter, because it hasn't started expanding yet!

Yeah -do you take commissions -My all white Shoei needs some customization
thanks for everyone's support and compliments!!!!
Anyway, yes I do commissions - go to my website - www.bigdawgzsquared.com (//http://)
and go to the Sharpie Helmets - get ready to pay though!
It does take me a long time to do the artwork - mostly planning the design! (my helmet took me 20 hours) And with using a Sharpie, you can't erase, so it's kinda stressful too!
Wow, you could be the next Troy Lee!!! How cool! [thumbsup] [clap] [bow_down]
The bike is even better up close and real.
Congrats on the Cycle World write up [thumbsup]
Nice job and well deserved recognition for your hard work and talent.
I think it's really amazing that anyone can have a vision and concept for something that intricate and still know where to begin.

Helmet's are pretty bad-ass. What an awesome gift that would be for a loved one. Custom sharpie helmet. Good thing G doesn't read the forum too much. [evil]
Congrats, That is an intresting piece of art you have [beer]
Very good to see. Truly a work of art [thumbsup]
Cool... [beer]
Curious, did sharpie mention how they found out about you?
It's nice to see your talent get recognized. I'm very impressed by your work. Good luck with everything. [clap]
Very nice.
Next time maybe use multiple colors of Sharpies .
Like do different objects or shapes outlined in black and fill them in with multiple Sharpie colors.
Dolph :)
I think being in the Magazine is GREAT!
I'm really interested to see what Sharpie is going to do for you
PINCH, PINCH, PINCH!!!! CONGRATS!!!!!!!! [clap] [clap] [clap]
loved seeing your bike at IMOC this year... it was truly the most interesting bike there and best in show :)
Woman, OK, that's great an all, we're all proud of you, but now you gotta go big...
Sharpie as a co/minor sponsor, MotoGP
Ideally Nicky's or Valentino's helmet to start, Laguna or Indi...
grassroots effort?
That's great! Congrats! Gotta go and pick up a copy. Keep us posted. [thumbsup]

Michael Jordans GSX-R
thanks so much! I saw the AMA Michael Jordan bike, and it was squiggles on the tank, kinda like worms, but I never got a look at the bike you're showing - it's his personal bike? I wish I could see it close-up!
looks like it's at the barber museum, you could see it
Jordan's team has had several variations of that type of cover scheme on their race bikes. Nothing comes close to your coolness! [thumbsup] No way!! [clap] [bow_down]
[clap] Congratulations!!! that really is a work of art.
Not sure if this was shown yet but it looks like someone took your idea and slapped it on a Miata:

It looks much better on your bike!! [thumbsup]
