Title: 695 Banjo Bolt - Clockable?
Post by: Artful on September 27, 2010, 03:07:09 PM
I'm installing new bars on my bike and am running into some clearance issues. When I'm putting the masters back on the banjo bolt is guiding the line directly into my bar clamps.

Can these banjos be clocked or no? If I could get a few degrees of rotation out of it, it would clear. I figured I would ask before I pulled it off, found out it couldn't be clocked, then have to bleed the damn things for no reason.

Moving the forks is an option, but will most likely require adjustments in the rear...and of course a higher seat in the end...and may need a longer side stand...and...

Not worth it for a $20 drag bar :D

It felt and looked great, but would have needed risers to clear, which defeats the purpose of a lower bar.

i bought brake lines off an SS on fleabay when i lowered my gauges and put on clip-ons. they didn't have the 90 degree bend so clearance was fine. cheaper than getting custom lines.
