Title: Potential issue since server swap
Post by: herm on October 01, 2010, 10:32:03 AM
since the server swap, it looks as if the "show unread posts since last visit" option is not working (for me at least)

known issue?
board issue?
my issue....?

Not a known issue until now.

Works fine for me.

Have you tried deleting cookies and bookmarks and logging in?

That one thing seems to be working for a multitude of issues.

matter of fact, after i posted, i tried to log out...and couldn't.
so i cleared all the junk from under the trunk, and was able to log out. and now its not a problem.

;D

I'm sure Daryl could tell us, but there must be one thing stored in the cookie that causes all this.

Maybe IP...cause that's different...

maybe dns...cause that is too.

Glad it's sorted.

Since the new server, McAfee Site Advisor shows me this:

You're the second person to mention it.

Can you tell us why McAfee is all wigged out?

I can assure you there is nothing 'wrong' with our server or site.

That message is a result of security measures put into place by our host to stop people hacking their servers.

Apparently that triggers a McAfee warning.

It's nothing to worry about, and there's not much we can do about it.

When I click the 'Read site report' link there is no real reason given.
