Title: Audi owners, please advise.. Post by: herm on October 01, 2010, 12:10:40 PM ok, i know a few of you have Audi's. If you also have an iPhone, I could use some input.
my dad recently got an 07 A4, with a stock Symphony stereo. he wants to be able to make and receive calls through the stereo with his iPhone, as well as listen to music (from the iPhone.) some quick research makes it look as though he is out of luck unless he replaces the stereo. Also, he is not interested in a stand alone blue tooth set up. he wants the calls to rout through the stereo. i already suggested ditching the iPhone.. [evil] anyone care to chime in? I would personally recommend a separate bluetooth headset (this one in particular (http://www.amazon.com/Plantronics-Voyager-Pro-Bluetooth-Headset/dp/B0027FFZEW)) plus some kind of stereo integration (not FM-tuner based). I have something similar in B6 S4 but abandoned it as I listen primarily to Sirius. It works well. Title: Re: Audi owners, please advise..
