Title: Scorpion battery?
Post by: anticoriolis on October 04, 2010, 12:32:21 PM
Hi everybody,
Have a friend who has a nice gel-pack battery he's offering me for free, dimensions are a bit different than a stock monster battery but I'm wondering if it will work if I can fit it? It was originally meant for a vintage honda CB550 application. Anybody know if this will work?

Thanks!

Yeah but as a stopgap it's free. What would you consider a not-off-brand battery? Yuasa?

Yuasa is what I put my faith in. I have used Champion as well.

The $30 battery from Batteries+ comes up dead after a year in Texas, and customers wonder why...

My Yuasa 7-series I put in my Monster (its much smaller than the originally equipped 16 series) is still going strong after more than 4 years
