I really cant imagine how much better GP Radials would be over what I have now. My bike stops on a dime as it is. Title: Re: Plugs for the empty mirror holes? Post by: Drunken Monkey on October 04, 2010, 06:39:01 PM The radials will make your bike stop on a nickle.
Title: Re: Plugs for the empty mirror holes? Post by: junior varsity on October 04, 2010, 06:46:10 PM The feel is very high on the GP masters - I like it a lot more than the stuff originally equipped - the axial masters are shite imo; The oem radials are nice, but the grabiness because of ratio is not the best.
i have only played with the RCS system once. The clutch side felt like there was no resistance because of pivot adjustment and the aftermarket slave cyl. Brakes were same as GP's from initial grab, but I wasn't sure if there wasn't a bit of vagueness due to the extra parts for the pivot Title: Re: Plugs for the empty mirror holes? Post by: kopfjäger on October 04, 2010, 07:03:49 PM The radials will make your bike stop on a nickle. And give you back some change. :D Title: Re: Plugs for the empty mirror holes? Post by: Desmojet on October 05, 2010, 02:00:38 PM On my 696 turning them upside down created a gap between the two halves so I just ordered a replacement set intended for the Hypermotard. Problem solved [thumbsup]

Post by: speedknot on October 05, 2010, 03:00:07 PM On my 696 turning them upside down created a gap between the two halves so I just ordered a replacement set intended for the Hypermotard. Problem solved [thumbsup] I noticed that too but there was a gap there before I flipped it so I just made it so the majority of the gap was on the lower part of the clamp so you hardly notice it. If it does bother me its good to know that I can get ones from a Hypermotard. Thanks for the tip. Title: Re: Plugs for the empty mirror holes? Problem solved [thumbsup] Yea same here, still more appealing visually than the holes being visible though. I'd rather have my holes hidden then plugged up. 8) Title: Re: Plugs for the empty mirror holes? Post by: geoffduc on October 09, 2010, 10:25:25 AM I have a pair of DP screw in alloy plugs if any one wants them, $10 including postage.
They where on a shelf in the back of the store, PM me... [thumbsup] [coffee] Title: Re: Plugs for the empty mirror holes? Post by: junior varsity on October 09, 2010, 10:26:35 AM Note: they don't work on the 696/1100/SF series. Different thread diameter.
If you are talking about the old school ones that I found in the back of a display case at our shop too Title: Re: Plugs for the empty mirror holes? Post by: geoffduc on October 09, 2010, 10:56:29 AM Yes a m they are for the old style monster mirror brackets.. :-[

Title: Re: Plugs for the empty mirror holes? Post by: jchurch on October 09, 2010, 07:00:49 PM Ok you know when you put a table together lets say a computer desk in this instance. You screw it all together and at the end you are left with plastic covers to hide the screws to make it all look flush. These are 'Perfect'!!! Just put a little bluetack on the end and push them in. This works fine and I had them on both bikes now totaling 3yrs+ , they never ever came loose even after weather and endless meticulous washing. [thumbsup]
Title: Re: Plugs for the empty mirror holes? Post by: JEFF_H on October 11, 2010, 08:20:53 AM BTW- the ones at Lowe's are 5/16" for your bike.
Title: Re: Plugs for the empty mirror holes? Post by: Hank025 on October 13, 2010, 04:43:37 AM for my 2007 S2R; the 5/16 are too small and the 3/8 are too big
