Title: Throttle Response
Post by: hedgehog132 on October 08, 2010, 01:44:58 PM
I have a 2009 Monster 1100 S.  Everything about the bike is great.  Getting on the throttle is very responsive and predictable.  Getting off the throttle and then getting back on it, say going into and out of a hard 90 is very rough.  Any ideas or things I can do to the bike to smooth it out?

I try to maintain some throttle, if necessary with a slipping clutch.

There are some products out there which will smooth things out, but I don't know much about those for your bike.
(Ducati Performance ECU, Power Commander a.s.o.)

Forgot: tightening the throttle cable helps. My experience is that very little (but some) free play is needed.
