Title: Sport Classic 1000 Front Fender on a Monster? Post by: Travman on October 09, 2010, 05:21:39 AM Will a Sport Classic 1000 front fender work on a Monster? If so, has anyone done it? Any pictures?

Any pictures? It will fit, but if I remember correctly the plastic mounting bands are different. The Monsters have the nut incorporated in the plastic mounting bands, and the SC has the nut incorporated in the fender (metal part). A while back I installed a SS fender on a SC, and remember having to add nuts to the back of the stock SC plastic mounting bands. Title: Re: Sport Classic 1000 Front Fender on a Monster? PM your mail and I ask my friend to mail you pics. Title: Re: Sport Classic 1000 Front Fender on a Monster? Post by: BlackKat on October 10, 2010, 05:09:25 AM Trav,

Title: Re: Sport Classic 1000 Front Fender on a Monster? Post by: BlackKat on October 11, 2010, 03:07:59 PM That looks tasty! I was thinking of using the one with the single bracket that runs over the top of the the fender in mounting. I was only concerned with the width of the sport classic fender...looks like a fit!

BTW I rode my Monster yesterday it felt pretty strong. I'm not supposed to take it over 5-6 grand for a while, but it pulls very strongly up to that point. I can't wait to see what it will look like on the dyno. Title: Re: Sport Classic 1000 Front Fender on a Monster? Post by: greenmonster on October 14, 2010, 08:47:54 AM Quote thats a gt1000 fender. sport 1000 is the single hoop that attaches in the center. Sorry, my mistake. But do look pretty good anyway, like the alu fitting. Title: Re: Sport Classic 1000 Front Fender on a Monster? But so is a Sport1000. Sport Classic only refers to the model line, not a specific model. Title: Re: Sport Classic 1000 Front Fender on a Monster?
