Stupid question that seems to be up for debate. Would you consider the LEFT side to be the clutch side or the brake side? Many people I ask have differences of opinion. ???
All vehicles, 2 or 4 wheeled, are referenced from the drivers/riders seat.

The right side on my friend's 1963 Sportster is the side with the shifter on it.
