That's right folks, you can now start your Dirtbag Challenge projects.
This years Dirtbag will be on Sunday November 14th 2010.
Party on.
Happy-happy, joy-joy.
I gotta go this year...

Uh....yeah, I don't think so. You don't get to have an 1198 and claim to be part of the Dirtbag mentality. Anyone with two footpegs, working lights, and license plate really doesn't qualify for that matter. [cheeky]

The greatest motorcycle event in the Bay area!
Build a functional (non-harley) motorcycle/chopper for under $1000, from parts and other random found objects. Lots of burnouts, beer, rat bikes and craziness.
It is held down in Hunters point if I remember correclty. The website seems to be down, but here is a sample of the kinds of bikes people build http://www.motorcyclistonline.com/features/122_0803_dirt_bag_challenge/photo_10.html (http://www.motorcyclistonline.com/features/122_0803_dirt_bag_challenge/photo_10.html)

Damn Vinny...we posted at the same time.
There's some kind of 'snuggling-kiss-and-make-up' joke there but I only got an hour of sleep last night [thumbsdown] so I can't put it together.
The music and people watching outdoes 99% of the bikes.
If you hung around late last year you got to see one guys burnout get away, zip between two concrete barricades and hit a parked SV 650.
My advice would be to park behind something big.
Dirtbaggery...

went last year...it was entertaining.
will make it out again this year if the weather cooperates.
This Sunday bump. Weather is going to be nice too. [popcorn] [clap] [laugh] [beer]
Awesomeness. I have a hankerin' for a burger. Heard that they're good there, too.
Strong Maybe...feeling under the weather.
I'm heading over around 2:30.
Meeting at Pier 23 around noon, come by and say hi.
