Title: I swapped my bike! Post by: Edward_Wolf on October 17, 2010, 10:01:47 PM I had a black Monster 796, nice bike, but a guy from my ducaticlub wants to swap my monster for his superbike 848. I said ok, let's do this :D, very nice bike. A little bit to fast [evil] (got pulled over by the cops when i was driving 172 km/h, lost my license for 2 weeks). Ok this was a wrong swap, bike is to fast for me, so I called my dealer. He told me i could swap the 848 for a used Hypermotard 1100s (special edition bayliss with 4K km on it). I had to pay a little surplus. So I'm driving a HM1100s now and I really like it, even more then my monster. It got lots of torque and a huge funfactor.
After driving 15 years with different monsters I fall in love with a Hypermotard [moto] Title: Re: I swapped my bike! Post by: zarn02 on October 17, 2010, 10:25:18 PM I predict the HM will also be bad for your license-retention. [cheeky]
Title: Re: I swapped my bike! Post by: jvax on October 17, 2010, 11:25:06 PM Edward, if I am not mistaken, you got your M796 a few months back right? So that's 3 different bikes in what, less than 4 months??? [clap]
I got my M796 about a week ago, don't think I will swap it any time soon 8) Have fun on you HM [moto] Title: Re: I swapped my bike! [clap] I got my M796 about a week ago, don't think I will swap it any time soon 8) Have fun on you HM [moto] y, got it around april, did drive 8k km with it, but if someone wants to swap a more expensive bike for mine I'll go for it :D I really liked my Monster 796, but I adore the Hyper 1100s, especially the "S" and ofc the more wheelietorgue ;). The 848 bike was just a 4 week replacement :) until I got my HM. When the guy asked me to swap his 848 for my M796 i called my dealer and asked what he could give me for the 848. The offered the HM1100s for a little surplus. I didn't wanted to to keep the 848, it was fun to ride but I couldn't drive slow with it :P especially on the highway. |
